Rescued Kittens: Alaska and Ginger

I rescued Alaska(left) on September 13th. I found him in an old barn down the road, along with several other cats. He was on his deathbed, skinny as a rail, eyes sealed shut, fur matted with dried poop. I took him home and tried to nurse him back to health as best I could before I could get him to a vet. After about three days of bathing, combing, feeding, and putting in eye drops, he started to look better. He got really lonely be himself so I drove back to the barn and picked up another kitten, Ginger(right). Her condition wasn\'t so critical, but she was thin and had a bit of a stuffy nose. It took almost a week to get her used to me. She still is a little shy, but on the road to friendliness!
The kittens now about three 1/2 months old and doing great!
